IDEA administers different sources of financial support. This financial support is awarded on a competitive basis to students of all nationalities. There are more sources of financial support available for advanced students (students in the second year of the Master’s program and students of all years in the PhD program). Financial support is not available for students who have finished their third year in the PhD program.
Time Limitation for Doctoral Students
The University's maximum time limit for completion of the doctoral degree is three years since the first enrollment at the PhD level. If this time elapses, the student can request a maximum of two one-year extensions from the Graduate School.
The IDEA program is committed to the maintenance of high standards of academic integrity. If academic dishonesty does take place, the student or students involved will receive an academic sanction that can result in the student's removal from the program. Academic dishonesty includes, but is not limited to, cheating, plagiarism, and misrepresentation of a student's academic records or academic work.
